About submitted data
Please prepare complete data for your submission. We ask that you submit complete data.
Complete data refers to data submitted in Illustrator (.ai format), Photoshop (.psd format), or Indesigh (.indd format) that does not require any revisions by our company . We will make some revisions, but we cannot be held responsible for any problems that arise during this process. Thank you for your understanding.
If you are unable to prepare complete data, please order the "Design Plan" where we will create the data for you.
Customer-supplied
Image resolution
Image resolution is measured in units of dpi or ppi, and is expressed in ppi in Photoshop. The higher the number, the higher the resolution. For life-size panels, a resolution of around 150 to 250 dpi is recommended.
<Notes>
Since the images are enlarged and used on Illustrator, the image resolution may be 50 dpi or less. Please prepare the image data so that it is 150 to 250 dpi at actual size. If you have Photoshop, you can open the "Image" menu → "Image Resolution" and check if the resolution is appropriate at the actual print size.
Specifying cutouts
Cut lines
The "lines" used to cut life-size panels are called cut lines. They are necessary when cutting out the panel to the shape you want. Cut lines can be created using Illustrator's pen tool, etc. Create cut lines in 1pt black (K100%) on a separate layer from the design. Also, make sure the cut lines fit within the size you ordered.
*There may be some misalignment during cutting, so be sure to place important text and images at least 10 mm inside the cut line.
*Small parts or cut lines that are too fine may be more likely to break, so we recommend setting cut lines that will result in as large a piece as possible.
[About the cut lines on the legs]
Since a stand will be attached to the back of a life-size panel, the cut line at the bottom of the panel needs to be wide so that the stand is hidden.
(A flared shape will help the panel stand stably.)
Also, make sure that the bottom of the panel that will be attached to the ground is flat.
Borderless printing support
Bleed
If you wish to cut without borders, be sure to add a bleed. Also, make sure to set the bleed to be at least 10 mm larger than the cut line.
Specifying the joining part
Dividing line
The maximum size of the cardboard material we use is 900 x 1800mm. If you are ordering a size larger than 900 x 1800mm, please add dividing lines to specify where the cardboard will be joined. Also, like the cut lines, please create the dividing lines in 1pt red (C0%, M100%, Y100%, K0%) on a separate layer from the design.
It is easier to balance if the parts to be joined are of the same size, so we recommend drawing dividing lines so that the parts are as equally divided as possible. * Make sure to draw dividing lines vertical.
